Bride at Bedford Lodge, Newmarket
As 2011 draws to a close the weather turns not to winter but seemingly to autumn - although I'm sure it won't last!

It has been a year of the unknown when it comes to the weather although it is typical in the UK. With the arrival of the Indian summer it looked set to be a long and sunny few months but the warmth didn't last long.

Although the weather was as changeable as ever, one thing has remained constant. The buzz and excitement of both the bride and groom as they prepare to marry - whether for the first, second or even third time!

This year I have enjoyed the grandness of venues such as Cambridge's King's and Queens' colleges and the intimacy of Shingay-cum-Wendy's South Farm.

So what does 2012 hold? Well apart from the Olympics and the Queen's Jubilee, it will be another busy year capturing couples marry and celebrate with their loved ones. For couples looking to book their wedding photography for 2013, there is £50 off the total cost for all bookings confirmed by 31 March 2012 so hurry!

I still have some availability for 2012 but now is the time to book before it's too late.

I wish you all the very best for 2012!
